It was at the end of the Clone Wars that he fell to the dark side of the Force and became the Sith apprentice of Darth Sidiousâ„¢, followed by a duel against his former master Obi -Wan Kenobiâ„¢ which will leave him crippled and force him to use armor to keep him alive.
